I’m at Starbucks on break. I have approximately 10 clients to massage between now and Korea. Four clients left to massage today, and six for tomorrow. Ten clients separating me from my first international journey around the world. It’s hard to work in times like these.
I massaged my sweet 85 year old woman earlier. We were talking about her husband and how he died of cancer after being married to her for 58 years. I told her I’m planning on going to school for pharmacology to study chemotherapy either this year or the next. She was so supportive of me. She told me I would excel at it because I’m a detail orientated person. How did she know I like details? One of my favorite quotes is “Beauty is in the details.”
After telling me I would be great at pharmacology, she told me I was going to have a wonderful experience in South Korea. I love this woman! She’s more supportive of me than my own parents.
I don’t know what else to write, so I will leave you with a moment of Zen.
