I had a dream last night of becoming a samurai butcher.
I was jobless, penniless and living at home with my parents. My dad was pushing me to find a job. I told him I wanted to become a samurai butcher working for Jordan Caterers in Cheshire. He looked at me like I was nuts.
He made me get a job as a cashier at stop & shop instead.
The money in my cash drawer was all mixed up together. I couldn’t organize it. There was a woman impatiently waiting for me to make change. I kept thinking how much better it would be if I was a samurai butcher.
I went to Jordan Caterers. They already had a samurai butcher working for them. I watched as he sliced the meat with his katana. He acted like I didn’t exist.
I can’t remember much else of the dream, but this is what it means according to my dream dictionary;
To dream of a sword – High position with many honors and distinction, if you own the sword.
Meat – Raw meat indicates much worry and discouragement in your career.
Butcher – There may be a long and fatal illness in your family. Be careful of what you write in a letter or document, as it may be used later at your detriment.
I’m worried about what they wrote for that last one. Maybe that only applies to dreaming of a regular butcher and not the samurai kind?
I have to lay off the kung fu movies at night.
